PRE-CONFERENCE: 7TH GRADUATE STUDENT COLLOQUIUM

Following the tradition of past CSCE Construction Specialty Conferences, the 6th Graduate Student Colloquium in Construction will be held on June 11th and 12th, 2019, immediately prior to the start of the CSCE conference at the Sheraton Laval and Convention Centre in Laval, QC.

The colloquium aims to provide a venue for construction graduate students to showcase their research work, and network and engage with other graduate students, academic researchers and industry practitioners in the field.

To be eligible to participate, students must be enrolled in a construction graduate program at the time of the colloquium and must present a poster on their research work during the event.

The first day of the colloquium will include a keynote address, a team building workshop, and a technical writing workshop. The day will be wrapped up with a social evening in a local venue in Laval.

The second day will include the research poster session and competition judged by a jury panel of construction industry practitioners. The top three posters and presenters will be announced at the awards ceremony held on that day. Posters will remain on site during the conference.

Thanks to financial support from the CSCE, the colloquium is free of charge to participating graduate students, but space is limited. If interested in participating, please submit the following information by email by March 15th, 2019 at the latest to the conference co-chair: Dr. Mohamed Issa at Mohamed.Issa@umanitoba.ca:
